Immediate Relief That Helps Communities Stay Resilient
When hunger, disaster, or crisis strikes, Compassion Reaction is the first response. This program delivers critical supplies—food staples, hygiene items, and girls’ sanitary products—to ensure families stay nourished, healthy, and able to attend school and work.
This program protects communities while long-term solutions are being built.
Why It Matters:
A child who is hungry cannot learn. A family without essentials cannot plan for the future. Compassion Reaction stabilizes communities so they can begin their journey toward independence.

Hot Kitchen Program
Safe, Efficient Kitchens Nourishing Hundreds of Students Daily
Many schools cook over open fires with no ventilation, limited wood, and unsafe conditions. The Hot Kitchen Program changes that by building energy-efficient, culturally aligned kitchens that reduce wood consumption and provide clean, safe meals every single day.
These kitchens become the heartbeat of the campus—fueling students so they can focus, learn, and thrive.
Why It Matters:
A fed student is an empowered student. Daily nutrition is essential for growth, focus, attendance, and long-term academic success.
Child Protection Program
A Safe Place to Sleep. A Safe Place to Learn.
A Safe Place to Dream.
In rural Kenya, students often walk long distances, face wildlife, and are vulnerable to trafficking and exploitation. The Child Protection Program builds on-campus dormitories, bathrooms, hot showers, and secure facilities that keep students safe around the clock.
For many children, this is the first time they’ve slept in a bed, eaten three meals, or lived without fear.
Why It Matters:
Safety is the foundation for growth. When a child feels protected, they can show up fully—in school, in community, and in their future.

Empower Program
Training. Skills. Leadership. True Independence.
The Empower Program is the core of L Squared’s long-term vision. This program sends specialists directly into communities to teach irrigation, agriculture, livestock management, academics, music, and leadership—building the confidence and capability needed to run thriving schools and farms independently.
We don’t just drop off supplies.
We train, equip, and empower local leaders to manage every system—from water to farming to education.
Why It Matters:
Empowerment is the difference between short-term progress and generational change.
