Precious Pads: Providing essential hygiene products to women and young girls who need it most.
Every sanitary pad represents a child having the opportunity to stay in school and stay safe.
How we help
We aim to provide women and girls in remote African villages with reusable, washable, sanitary pads.
In these remote villages, young girls are subjected to trafficking and being sold as child brides. The risk is increased when girls are not able to attend school, which occurs when they are menstruating and do not have proper sanitary products.
However, by simply providing the proper hygiene products, we can intervene and disrupt this harmful cycle.
